چکیده
Several advantages of multihull, such as catamaran, have been extensively discussed in the previous research. Therefore, this research focuses on developing a catamaran hull form for fish processing vessel hull. The initial stage is determining principal dimension and exploring configurations forms. existing high-speed craft catamarans adopted to determine parent model main dimensions using linear regression equation model. Otherwise, single demi-hull geometry was developed by converting modifying with enlarging displacement achieve deadweight capacity service speed requirements. spacing configuration s/L 0.17, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 resistance characteristics, intact stability, sea-keeping behaviour were also explored. Furthermore, comparisons previously proposed monohull presented. Regarding performance, analysis indicated that had better total characteristics than over 23 knots. In case results presented has stability monohull. dynamic gave at heeling angle below 41.57°. 0.17 0.20 lower larger 41.57° 58.03°, respectively. shown an excellent rolling motion required offshore environment loading/unloading process. large demi can reduce effect wave creating load roll response Beam Sea.
